This study recruited only 9 of the planned 60 participants, but it met other feasibility objectives, suggesting that a full trial might be feasible, particularly with stronger collaboration with primary care.

I understand that these Facet joint injections were introduced to Jimmy Cyriax by Dr Harley, who worked with the inventor - a Czech Doctor. Dr Harley moans about two things with modern Facet joint injections: a) The lumbar needles issued by NICE are too small to get to where they need to get to and b) Dr Harley has now moved on to using these injections as a "pre" thing for the "main event" - he now uses a Spinal Mobilisation machine. The results are very effective.
